Pay Rate: Up to $21/hour (Depending on experience)

Shift: First Shift (Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM; occasional weekend hours as needed)

Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Shift Supervisor

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician I to join our team on first shift. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with mechanical experience looking to grow their skills in a manufacturing environment, working alongside experienced technicians and supporting daily plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC lathes/mills, general machinery, and hobbers/shapers.

• Equipment & Facility Upkeep: Monitor coolant systems, clean and repair chip conveyors, and manage lube oil and grease for production cells.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain the chemical storage area, follow strict safety protocols (including Lockout/Tagout), and comply with Quality and Environmental systems.

• Housekeeping & Recycling: Handle general building/janitorial maintenance and monitor records for recycling efforts.

• Skill Development: Assist Maintenance Technicians II, support janitorial staff as needed, and participate in ongoing training for hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Continuous Improvement: Submit ideas for safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping to your supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent).

• Experience: 12 years of experience as a machine operator or in a maintenance role.

• Key Proficiencies:

  • Strong foundational mechanical capabilities.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • A proven track record of reliable attendance.
