EXPERIENCED APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician Wanted
We are seeking an experienced, dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on maintenance skills, understands apartment building systems, and can work independently while providing excellent service to our residents. North Metro, South Metro and 7 County Roving areas.
Qualifications
- Current boiler license required
- Proven experience working with boilers and heating systems
- Strong plumbing experience, including troubleshooting and repairs
- Previous experience in apartment or multi-family property maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies when needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable, organized, and take pride in the quality of their work
Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, hot water systems, plumbing, and other building equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, fixtures, toilets, faucets, and related systems
- Complete apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents
- Maintain building common areas, mechanical rooms, and grounds
- Assist with larger building maintenance and improvement projects
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations
- Participate in on-call rotation, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a skilled maintenance professional—not just someone who can make basic repairs. The right candidate will have solid mechanical knowledge, strong plumbing and boiler experience, good troubleshooting skills, and the ability to recognize and resolve problems before they become larger issues.
