The Pest Control Technician is an individual contributor responsible for conducting routine pest control treatments at various client sites. This role involves primarily fieldwork, requiring travel between job locations and direct interaction with clients to ensure effective pest management and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect sites for pest presence and assess infestation levels
- Apply pest treatment solutions according to safety and regulatory guidelines
- Handle and maintain pest control equipment properly
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all pest control activities
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment procedures and schedules
- Keep accurate records of treatments and site conditions
- Prepare sites for pest control application
- Mix and handle chemicals safely for treatment purposes
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure operational readiness
