Job Title: Maintenance Associate
Location: Amelia, LA 70380
Pay: $28–$30XX
Shift: First shift, approx. 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 5 days/week (weekends possible during high workload)
Overview:
You will support preventative maintenance and perform welding, cutting, and fitting tasks in a mining/industrial setting. This role requires hands-on work, coordination with supervisors and other teams, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding, cutting, fitting, and general maintenance tasks.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and hand tools.
- Maintain tools, clean work areas, and ensure safety compliance.
- Lift, carry, and use heavy tools and equipment.
- Work outdoors in all weather and in restrictive spaces when needed.
- Follow all safety and regulatory procedures; report hazards, injuries, or near-misses.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Welding, cutting, fitting, and preventative maintenance skills.
- Ability to work in extreme weather, at heights, and in tight spaces.
- No formal education required; high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be local (within 30–40 miles of Amelia, LA).
- Steel-toe boots, long sleeves, and pants required on day one.
Training: Extensive on-the-job training provided.
