Position Description: Janitor / Housekeeping PositionLocation: Artesia, NMJob Type: Full-Time / Ongoing ProjectPay Rate:Base Pay: $16.50/hourWellness Benefit: $5.54/hourTotal Compensation Package: $22.04/hourOvertime paid at the base rate of $16.50/hour in accordance with applicable labor laws.Position OverviewWe are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for a Janitor / Housekeeping position at an active construction site in Artesia, NM. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized living and common areas in a hotel-style environment for onsite personnel and guests.Candidates must be comfortable working in an active construction setting while maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize hotel-style rooms and bathroomsChange linens, make beds, and restock supplies as neededSweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areasEmpty trash and dispose of waste properlyClean hallways, common areas, offices, and break roomsMaintain restrooms with proper sanitation standardsPerform general housekeeping and janitorial dutiesReport maintenance or safety concerns to supervisorsFollow all site safety procedures and company policiesMaintain professional conduct and dependable attendanceQualificationsPrevious housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel cleaning experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipmentMust be reliable, punctual, and detail-orientedComfortable working at an active construction siteMust comply with all safety requirements and PPE guidelinesWork EnvironmentActive ongoing construction siteIndoor and outdoor work may be requiredFast-paced environment with daily cleaning assignments
