Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining slicing, packaging, and press machinery and equipment. Specializing in food products such as sliced fruit, naked fruit juice, and other cold-pressed juices and produce, we require a professional with electrical experience, as well as previous GMP and refrigeration experience, to join our restructured maintenance department.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment including slicers, packaging, and presses.
- Conduct mechanical repairs on conveyors, belts, bearings, gears, and pumps.
- Handle electrical repairs on single/3 phase motors, fuses, relays, and systems ranging from 120-480v.
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment.
- Engage in preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
- Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills for efficient operations.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in pneumatics and 3-phase systems.
- Experience in mechanical repairs and motor maintenance.
- Strong skills in hydraulics and troubleshooting.
- 5+ years in food manufacturing and refrigeration experience.
- 3+ years of mechanical or electrical repairs.
- 3+ years of maintenance technician experience at the same company.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs, machine building, and fabrication is a significant advantage.

Work Environment
The position is for the 1st shift, operating from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available. The work is conducted in a GMP environment, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, smocks, steel-toe shoes, and safety glasses. Candidates will need to provide their own tools. There is no ammonia refrigeration involved.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
