Company Overview


WisHope Recovery is a substance abuse treatment center. We provide Residential, PHP, IOP, and individual therapy. We specialize in treating chemical dependency, along with other addictive and mental health disorders, focusing on the underlying causal conditions that lead to addictive behavior. Key Responsibilities:


  1. Resident Support and Supervision:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, providing guidance, support, and encouragement as they work through their recovery process.
    • Enforce house rules and policies in a fair, consistent, and respectful manner to maintain a sober, safe, and positive environment.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with residents to assess their progress in recovery, provide support, and address any challenges they may face.
    • Facilitate house meetings where residents can discuss challenges, share successes, and engage in community-building activities.
    • Mediate conflicts between residents and help resolve issues in a constructive, solution-oriented manner.
    • Ensure that residents are actively participating in recovery support services (e.g., AA/NA meetings, therapy, life skills programs).
  2. House Operations and Maintenance:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sober living residence, including ensuring the house is clean, well-maintained, and safe for all residents.
    • Monitor and ensure adherence to safety procedures, such as fire safety protocols, emergency evacuation procedures, and security guidelines.

    • Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere that encourages accountability, mutual respect, and peer support.
    • Promote social integration by encouraging residents to participate in group activities, community events, and volunteer opportunities.
    • Help residents build connections to outside support services, such as local recovery groups, vocational training, and mental health services.
    • Encourage residents to contribute to maintaining a clean and respectful living environment through shared responsibilities.
  4. Program Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with WisHope’s policies and procedures, as well as any legal or regulatory requirements related to sober living operations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents, including intake forms, incident reports, and progress notes.
    • Provide regular updates to the Program Director on resident progress, incidents, and any other issues that require attention.
    • Assist in preparing reports for funding or regulatory agencies as needed.
  5. Crisis Management and Emergency Response:
    • Respond to emergency situations, such as medical crises, relapses, or behavioral issues, and escalate to appropriate professionals or authorities when necessary.
    • Administer first aid or CPR if needed, and ensure that residents are aware of emergency procedures.
    • Support residents through crises by providing compassionate, non-judgmental assistance and directing them to appropriate resources.
  6. Staff Collaboration and Development:
    • Collaborate with other staff members, including case managers, counselors, and program coordinators, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive support for residents.
    • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices in sober living management and recovery support.
    • Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff members or volunteers, ensuring they understand the house's operations, policies, and values.
