Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our client. This job is responsible for maintaining production equipment and facility systems in a clean, climate-controlled electronics manufacturing environment.What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Set up, align, and calibrate production equipment
- Perform facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building repairs
- Fabricate or modify machine parts using shop equipment
- Complete work orders and document maintenance activities
- Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
- Support production by minimizing equipment downtime
- Maintain maintenance inventory and assist with ordering parts
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of industrial, electromechanical, SMT, or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience reading schematics and blueprints
- Basic PLC knowledge preferred
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
