Local Inwood, NY service company looking to hire a full-time Operations &amp; Facility Manager.
 
We are looking for someone to join our team of fun, dedicated, smart, positive, and motivated people.
 
Starting pay is $55,000 to $60,000 a year with great opportunity for growth. Peak season runs May through October. Full training provided on the business side; the handy part is on you!
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Train our team in best practices</li>
<li>Get the team out in the morning: vans prepped, product mixed, everyone out on time</li>
<li>Keep our fleet of vans on the road</li>
<li>Light repair of two-stroke engines (if you can keep a weed whacker alive, this might be the job for you)</li>
<li>Season startup and shutdown of vehicles, machines, and facility</li>
<li>Parts ordering and inventory</li>
<li>Help techs out when something breaks in the field</li>
<li>Retraining of techs</li>
<li>Keep the shop and facility running</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements &amp; Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>You need to be handy. If you're the one your friends call when the mower won't start, call us!</li>
<li>Experience with small engines, cars, boats, landscaping equipment, or dirt bikes.</li>
<li>Full training provided on the business side - the handy part is on you.</li>
