An established Property Management Company with over 50 years of industry experience is seeking an On-Site Community Property Manager to oversee a 225-unit community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential property management, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lead day-to-day operations, including supervision of a maintenance technician. This position will share responsibilities with another on-site Community Manager to ensure smooth and efficient property operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Live on-site at the community
- Manage leasing activities: advertising, showing units, screening applicants, processing applications, rental agreements, and deposits in compliance with company procedures and fair housing laws
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents, current residents, and visitors
- Conduct move-in/move-out inspections, prepare legal notices, and ensure timely completion of forms and reports
- Perform regular property walks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal
- Coordinate unit turns and oversee vendors to ensure units are ready for move-in
- Manage resident and unit files, bank deposits, and weekly vacancy reports
- Enforce community rules and regulations with fairness and professionalism
- Use property management software (AppFolio preferred) and Microsoft Office to manage operations effectively

Schedule
- Standard 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities

Requirements:
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property management, leasing, and customer service
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and handle priorities with attention to detail and kindness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AppFolio experience is a plus
- Valid California driver’s license and proof of insurance required
- Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
