Join a dedicated maintenance team where you will perform industrial cleaning and support maintenance technicians with a variety of tasks. You will help keep equipment and facilities clean, organized, and operating safely by using basic hand tools, following instructions, and working efficiently across different assignments.
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks in and around production and maintenance areas to maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient work environment.
- Assist maintenance team members with routine maintenance activities by providing tools, materials, and general support as directed.
- Use basic hand tools safely and correctly to support cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Follow basic written and oral instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Move quickly and efficiently from one task to the next as priorities change throughout the shift.
- Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed for cleaning and maintenance support.
- Walk, stand, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods, typically 10–12 hours per day.
- Work independently when required, managing assigned tasks and ensuring they are completed to a high standard.
- Help maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies after use.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in an industrial environment.
Essential Skills
- Basic experience using hand tools in an industrial or maintenance setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily tasks.
- Ability to walk, stand, and perform physical work for 10–12 hours per day.
- Ability to clean an industrial environment, including floors, equipment, and work areas.
- Ability to follow basic written and oral instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently from one task to the next.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance support, industrial cleaning, or a similar helper role is beneficial.
- Familiarity with working around mechanical equipment and maintenance operations is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness and safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent shift coverage.

Work Environment
This position is based in an industrial facility where you will work closely with a maintenance team and production staff. The role involves extensive walking, standing, lifting, and physical activity for 10–12-hour shifts. Positions are available on second and third shifts, providing structured schedules outside of standard daytime hours. You will work in an environment that uses mechanical equipment, industrial cleaning tools, and basic hand tools, and you will be expected to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate work attire and protective equipment suitable for an industrial setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
