Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Columbus, IN
Pay: 31–44/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing facility in Columbus, IN. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who enjoys working with industrial equipment, automation, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain automated production equipment, machinery, and associated components.
- Identify equipment issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to support equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with PLCs, industrial automation, and electrical controls.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment.
- Experience with CNC equipment or robotics is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
