Job Description We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Great Lakes Management!
Maintenance Technician Job Details:
- Hours – Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Pay Range – $25 - $27 / hour
- Location – 1015 Essex St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414 - University Village Apartments

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed.
- Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently.
- Report any problems/deficiencies.
- Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues.
- Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns.
- Maintain the grounds; trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc.
- Test the resident security systems as required.
- Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc.
- Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Minimum two years' experience in maintenance, preferably residential property management.
- Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows.
This position is required to participate in an on-call rotation, 3-4 weeks off-call and 1 week on-call.
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
40 hours per week
