Maintenance Assistant

Yorktown Manor is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to join our skilled nursing facility in Yorktown, IN. This role is responsible for supporting the overall upkeep, safety, and appearance of the facility to ensure a comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Shift Available: Full-time
Rate: $19.00/hour
Responsibilities

Perform general facility maintenance, including repairs to walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, and windows

Assist with trash removal and general upkeep of the building and grounds

Complete routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs as assigned

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

Participate in scheduled on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as needed
Qualifications

Previous experience in maintenance or a related field preferred

Familiarity with cleaning materials, equipment, and basic repair tools

Must be 18 years of age or older
