Are you a reliable, hands-on team player who enjoys variety and takes pride in your work? American Communities is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations and help keep our apartment community running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Assist with apartment turns (make-readies)</li>
<li>Perform general maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances)</li>
<li>Support work orders and preventative maintenance</li>
<li>Maintain curb appeal, including grounds care and exterior upkeep</li>
<li>Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure resident satisfaction</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For:
<ul>
<li>1+ year of general maintenance or make-ready experience (apartment industry preferred)</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair</li>
<li>Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude</li>
<li>Ability to handle physical tasks and work outdoors as needed</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced maintenance skills (HVAC a plus, but not required)</li>
