3+ years experienced maintenance technician needed to perform makereadies for residential and commercial properties. Should have experience in repairs and maintenance such as plumbing, painting, sheetrock repairs and texturing, exterior wood repair, fence repair, and light electrical. The technician should have good people skills and will train to be the supervisor over several people.
Must have own tools, be a non-smoker, have valid driver's license and social security card, and pass a criminal check with no DUI's.
There will be a 3-month probation period and employee will get .60 cents per mile for business use of employee's personal vehicle. Within 30 days of the probation ending, employer will provide a company truck with free gasoline and auto insurance for the company truck. Employee may take the truck home for personal use for being on a call for emergencies.
Benefits are paid holidays, vacation, sick leave and minor medical care card.
Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (which includes a 30-minute lunch) and Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and off Friday afternoons (unless on call that week). Employee will be on a rotating emergency call schedule with the other maintenance men.
