Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Broadview Heights, OH. This position is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and property features to ensure safe, clean, and functional environments. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting facilities, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance schedules on mechanical, electrical, and structural components. The Maintenance Technician will respond to service requests, coordinate with property management and vendors when needed, and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. The role also includes adhering to safety standards, supporting property improvements, and communicating clearly with residents and team members.\n
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for residential and light commercial properties.

\n

• Experience with Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance to diagnose and resolve mechanical or facility-related issues.

\n

• Ability to implement Preventive Maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment and building life.

\n

• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry is highly beneficial.

\n

• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures, and equipment manuals.

\n

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

\n

• Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach when interacting with residents and team members.

\n

• Ability to work on-site, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks safely in various weather conditions.

\n

• Previous maintenance experience in residential or property management settings preferred.

\n

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
