Senior Commercial Property Manager
Honolulu, Oahu | Full-Time | Onsite $120,000-$125,000 annually
Bishop & Company is recruiting on behalf of a well-established retail property management organization seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Property Manager to oversee commercial properties on Oahu. This is a high-impact role requiring a proactive professional who can independently manage complex property operations, cultivate strong stakeholder relationships, and drive exceptional service for tenants and ownership.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and self-starter with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, analyze contracts and operational issues, and make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day oversight of an assigned portfolio of retail properties.
- Serve as the primary liaison between property owners, tenants, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong tenant relationships while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Review leases, contracts, vendor agreements, and related documents to determine responsibilities, obligations, risk exposure, and liability.
- Coordinate vendor services, maintenance projects, and operational initiatives to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.
- Prepare, analyze, and present operational, financial, and ad hoc reports to leadership and ownership.
- Evaluate property issues, identify solutions, and make sound recommendations using critical thinking and business judgment.
- Monitor property performance and identify opportunities to improve operations, tenant satisfaction, and asset value.
- Ensure compliance with lease requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.
- Independently manage a high volume of priorities while meeting deadlines and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial, retail, or mixed-use property management experience, preferably managing multiple properties or complex assets.
- Strong understanding of lease administration, contract review, property operations, and vendor management.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and ownership groups.
- Experience preparing reports, analyzing data, and making operational recommendations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of results.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Hawaii Real Estate License within three (3) months of hire.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work onsite in Honolulu, Oahu.
Compensation & Benefits
- $120,000-$125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
