We are seeking a skilled and dependable technician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in air conditioning systems (HVAC) and commercial restaurant fryer repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems as well as ensuring all fryer equipment in our restaurant operations runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine and emergency maintenance on commercial air conditioning units (split systems, rooftop units, etc.).
· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial deep fryers and related kitchen appliances.
· Conduct system diagnostics, repair leaks, replace faulty components, and recharge refrigerants in accordance with EPA guidelines.
· Ensure all equipment meets safety and sanitation standards.
· Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs clearly.
· Respond promptly to service calls and perform repairs with minimal downtime.
· Collaborate with management to schedule preventative maintenance.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years of professional experience in HVAC and fryer repair.
· EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred).
· Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and safety protocols.
· Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or hot environments.
· Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in restaurant or food service environments.
· Trade school or technical certification in HVAC or appliance repair.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
