We are currently hiring Low Voltage Technicians with experience in Fire Alarm and/or Access Control Systems for projects throughout the San Diego area. Work is available immediately.
This is a project-based opportunity with a variety of commercial low-voltage installations. Technicians who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and professionalism will have the opportunity to stay busy on future projects as new work becomes available.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Install access control devices including card readers, mag locks, electric strikes, request-to-exit devices, and door hardware
- Pull, route, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Perform system startup, testing, and punch-list work
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of low-voltage experience preferred
- Experience with fire alarm and/or access control systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic hand tools and PPE
- Reliable transportation to jobs throughout San Diego County
- Strong attendance and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Fire alarm installation, testing, or service
- Access control systems such as DoorKing, Brivo, Avigilon, Lenel, Openpath, Honeywell, or similar platforms
- Commercial construction or tenant improvement projects
- OSHA certification a plus
