Starting pay: $27.00/hour minimum (higher with experience)

Shifts available: 2nd & 3rd

• 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM): +$1.25/hour
• 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM): +$1.00/hour

A day in the life

You arrive for an off-shift handoff, scan overnight logs, and jump straight into action: clearing a CNC alarm, diagnosing a robot fault, and tracing a sensor signal in a PLC routine. By the time production ramps, you’ve aligned a new conveyor, swapped a worn bearing, verified motor drives, and updated preventive maintenance notes—keeping uptime high and safety first.

About the opportunity

DirectPath Recruiting Services has partnered with a leading manufacturer to hire experienced multi-craft maintenance professionals to support production assets and facility systems. This role blends electrical and mechanical expertise—CNC troubleshooting, robotics, PLCs, welding, installation, and commissioning—to keep a modern plant running smoothly around the clock.

What you’ll tackle

• Diagnose and correct issues on CNCs, industrial robots, PLC-controlled equipment, and plant electrical systems, plus hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Inspect key components: motors, drives, belts, bearings, filters, lubrication and fluid levels, and other critical machine elements.
• Use prints and documentation—blueprints, electrical schematics, manuals, and tech references—to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Assemble, install, and repair electrical wiring, machinery, controls, and production equipment.
• Test, verify, and operate equipment to isolate and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and metal repairs when needed.
• Install, level, align, and commission new manufacturing equipment.
• Use precision tools—calipers, micrometers, and diagnostic instruments—to validate adjustments and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate work orders, PM records, and repair documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement while following all safety standards.
• Replace or rebuild defective components using appropriate hand and power tools.

Preferred background

• Hands-on troubleshooting with CNC machining equipment.
• PLC diagnostics and programming exposure.
• Robotics programming/troubleshooting (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, etc.).
• Strong electrical maintenance (motors, drives, sensors, controls).
• Mechanical systems expertise (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, power transmission).
• Welding and fabrication capabilities.
• Fluent in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred.
