The Armed Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of warehouse and industrial facility environments. This role involves monitoring access, conducting patrols, and responding promptly to incidents while operating under the guidance of a direct supervisor and security manager. We are seeking day and night shifts, with a low level of public interaction but essential client interaction and strong social skills.
Responsibilities
- Control access to restricted areas to ensure authorized entry only
- Conduct routine patrols of the warehouse and industrial facility premises
- Perform ongoing surveillance to identify potential security threats
- Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies
- Assess risks and implement preventative measures to protect property and personnel
- Interact professionally with clients while maintaining security protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Armed Security Guard License
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in security services
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and customer service
- Strong physical fitness and situational awareness
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and first aid
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
