Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire & Security Alarm / Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As an Alarm / Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems and Lighting Control Systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Installing, Programming, and Testing Security Systems. The Install includes reading Plan Grid, Blue Prints, etc; pulling wire; installing equipment; and making sure the whole system is online and operating.
Independently conduct routine inspections and maintenance of security systems to ensure proper functioning.
Complete service calls, troubleshoot and repair all issues. Communication with Customer about found issues and resolution.
Working with our Customers addressing inquiries, resolving technical problems, and offering guidance on system usage.
Working with Phase 4 Team and Customers on site to design and implement solutions based on their specific needs.
Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. This includes Daily Payroll Time Sheet, Receipts for all expenditures, Inventory of Tools on Service Vehicles, Inventory of Parts and Supplies on Service Vehicles.

SKILLS

Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, security systems, cctv systems, access control systems and related equipment.
Electrical and low voltage knowledge to handle wiring and power supply connections.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the installation process.
Ability to detect issues or malfunctions in security systems through troubleshooting techniques.
Mechanical knowledge to understand the inner workings of security system components.
Basic computer hardware skills for programming and system design purposes.
Excellent customer service skills for providing support to clients
Experience in field service work, preferably in the security system industry

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

We expect a high degree of moral behavior, professionalism, and intelligence. The location of our Corporate Office and location of our Customers requires our Crews to travel daily. This travel can be for the day, overnight, or several consecutive nights.
