We run a fleet rental and operations business with trucks, trailers and passenger vehicles. Customers count on getting equipment that is clean, safe and ready to go. We’re hiring a reliable, detail-oriented cleaner to keep our fleet and facilities in top shape.
What You’ll Do
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors between rentals: wash, vacuum, wipe down and sanitize trucks, cargo vans, trailers and passenger vehicles
- Sweep, wash out and deodorize trailer and truck cargo areas, and remove debris, tape and anything renters left behind
- Clean cabs, dashboards, seats, floor mats and windows
- Check vehicles for damage, low fluids, warning lights or missing equipment, and report what you find
- Keep the shop, offices, restrooms, break rooms, wash bays and yard clean and organized
- Take out trash, restock supplies and keep cleaning equipment in good working order
- Use pressure washers, shop vacs, degreasers and cleaning chemicals safely
- Move vehicles around the lot as needed, if licensed
- Work with operations staff so turnarounds happen on schedule
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in cleaning, detailing, janitorial or fleet/lot work is a plus, but we will train
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Able to work outdoors in all weather and stand, bend, kneel and climb into trucks and trailers for long periods
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual and able to work on your own
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record [preferred ]
- Comfortable driving or moving box trucks and vans [preferred]
