Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Pest & Termite Control Technician to provide professional pest management services for residential and commercial customers. The technician will inspect properties, identify pest activity, perform appropriate treatments, and educate customers on prevention and ongoing pest control.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, interacting professionally with customers, working outdoors and in various environments, and following all safety and pesticide regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect homes and businesses for signs of termites, ants, roaches, rodents, mosquitoes, and other common pests.
- Identify pest activity, entry points, conducive conditions, and potential sources of infestation.
- Perform pest and termite treatments using approved products, equipment, and application methods.
- Install and maintain termite bait stations and other pest-control systems as required.
- Conduct termite inspections and document findings accurately.
- Apply interior and exterior treatments while following product labels and safety procedures.
- Explain treatment recommendations, prevention methods, and service plans to customers.
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and treatment documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers and address service-related questions or concerns.
- Safely operate company vehicles, sprayers, application equipment, and other pest-control tools.
- Maintain assigned equipment, supplies, and vehicle in clean and working condition.
- Follow company policies, environmental requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Complete assigned service routes efficiently while maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications or licenses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous pest control, termite, construction, landscaping, or related experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state pest-control licensing/certifications.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
- Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, basements, outdoors, and other challenging environments.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and safety-conscious.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Ability to safely lift and carry equipment, supplies, and treatment materials.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment
