ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs when needed.

Select jobs to be performed according to priority, work orders, or as determined by the supervisor or lead person.

Use general instructions, drawings, specification documents, plant layout sketches, manufacturer catalogs and verbal instruction to perform work.

Conduct routine testing and inspections to ensure equipment and systems are operating properly and efficiently.

Maintain the established routine maintenance program.

Respond as soon as possible to all emergencies. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions.

Complete all required paperwork.

Maintain good communication with supervisor by keeping him/her informed of quality, maintenance, safety, production and other related issues. Obtain supervisory approval for and deviations from standard procedures.

Maintain order and cleanliness in work area.

Observe all safety rules and environmental regulations.
Responsible for following environmental procedures with knowledge of waste handling, labeling, transporting and disposal.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent, technical or trades skills preferred. Requires good communication skills, both oral and written.
Must be able to speak and read English.
**Experience: **One to three years related experience.
**Physical **Must be able to move up to 50 lbs., lift, bend, walk and reach.
Requires manual dexterity and visual ability.
You should be proficient in:
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
- Equipment Repair & Maintenance
- Machine Safety Inspections
