Job DescriptionMinimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 18 years of age
- Able to lift occasionally up to 40 pounds
- Have a personal smart phone with data usage capability
Qualifications
- Motivated and dependable individual who can work alone or with a group in a minimally supervised environment.
- Must have attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Prior cleaning experience is a plus
- Ability to use mobile apps (applications)
Responsibilities

- Custodial staff members may be assigned to provide cleaning services to school buildings, offices, or light industrial facilities according to the cleaning specs of each building.
- Cleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Collect trash and replace trash can liners
- Clean, sanitize, and supply restrooms
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Wipe windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Dust and clean overhead vent
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the custodian's closet
- Communicate with Lead to ensure cleaning quality and customer service
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Follow proper procedures in the use of cleaning solutions, equipment, and tools according to specifications.
- Report any abnormal activities or conditions to Lead.
- Ensure all chemicals and equipment needed are available and in working order.
