Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing company located in Memphis, TN. This role is a direct hire opportunity paying $35.50/hr on a 2-2-3 schedule (4pm-4am). Please apply for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment, including 480V 3-phase motors and conveyers, cartoners, case packers, and wrappers.
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Perform equipment installations and changeovers.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts and equipment.
- Maintain a sanitized and organized work area.
- Comply with the 5S process and adhere to GMP's, HACCP, OSHA, and company policies.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with 480V 3-phase motors.
- Understanding of conveyers, cartoners, case packers, and wrappers.
