The General Janitorial Worker plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within facilities. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies
- Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms for events as needed
