Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Capital Transaction Review Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through our certification and verification process.
Capital Transaction Review Analysts focus specifically on evaluating, reviewing, and validating financial materials and transaction components for live private market deals. This includes reviewing models, underwriting assumptions, diligence materials, and transaction structures before investor presentation or closing.
Once approved, analysts:

Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

Gain access to real transaction review assignments

Support investors, fund managers, and operators on live deals

Review and validate financial models and underwriting assumptions

Contribute to transaction quality control and risk identification

Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers: Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst
Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, senior consulting, transaction advisory, or development professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience
Lead Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of deal execution, underwriting, or financial modeling experience
Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical performance in modeling, underwriting, or transaction support
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Capital Transaction Review Analysts may be engaged for:
Transaction & Model Review

Review of 3-statement financial models

DCF, LBO, and return model validation

Commercial real estate underwriting review

Assumption testing and sensitivity validation

Model error detection and structural integrity checks

Comparable company and precedent transaction validation
-
Football field valuation summary review
Due Diligence & Risk Review

Quality of Earnings (QoE) review support
-
Review of commercial and operational diligence findings
-
Identification of red flags and risk concentration
-
Capital stack and waterfall structure review
-
Investment memo review and financial consistency checks
Transaction Quality Control
-
Cross-checking projections against source documents
-
Reviewing sponsor assumptions and pro forma adjustments

Ensuring investor-ready financial presentation standards
-
Supporting transaction readiness before investor distribution
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning

Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

Receive category-specific approvals (Model Review, Valuation, Due Diligence, Underwriting)

Get verified on the platform

Begin earning income immediately through hourly transaction review projects
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors for transaction review assignments.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
-
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

Visibility on the platform

Approved work categories
-
Recommended hourly rates
-
Eligibility for higher-tier transaction review assignments
Compensation & Deal Terms
-
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
-
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level
-
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
-
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
-
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
-
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to analytical review, diligence validation, and financial transaction support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
