Pest Control Technician – Full Time
Carolina Exterminating is a locally owned and family-operated pest control company serving the Charleston Lowcountry since 2008. We’re looking for a dependable, motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, meeting customers, and taking pride in doing a job correctly. Pest control experience is welcome, but we are also willing to train the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Perform residential and commercial pest control services throughout the Charleston area
- Inspect properties for pest activity and identify areas of concern
- Apply pest control products safely and according to label requirements and company procedures
- Communicate with customers about their service, findings, and recommendations
- Complete service notes and customer documentation using our mobile software
- Maintain an organized and properly stocked company vehicle
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while communicating with the office throughout the day
- Identify additional pest concerns and communicate appropriate service recommendations
- Follow all company safety, service, and customer-care standards
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working independently and managing a daily route
- Professional and friendly with customers
- Comfortable working outdoors in Charleston-area weather
- Able to enter crawlspaces, climb ladders, and work in attics and other confined areas when necessary
- Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet and mobile applications
- Ability to follow written product labels, safety procedures, and service protocols
- Pest control experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Work Location: On the road throughout the Charleston Tri-County area
