Located 40 mins from downtown Denver at 30 minutes from the foothill areas we are easy to get to and right off of Highway 285. We only host groups up to 60 people and we only flip rooms 2-3 times of week due to our minimum two-night stay. POSITION SUMMARY
Overall, responsible for proactively maintaining all buildings, guest rooms and equipment throughout the property. Responsible for any maintenance repairs required to ensure an optimal guest and team member experience.

Position Functions
- Responsible for maintaining the upkeep, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the entire Lone Rock facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.
- Assist Maintenance Manager in the creation and continual optimization of safety, energy, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Facilitate basic maintenance of property vehicles including inspection of tires, filling batteries with water and any preventive maintenance attention required.
- Conduct regular campus wide inspections to ensure that Preventative Measure standards are being met.
- Manage the maintenance and sanitation of all Engineering areas to ensure a safe work environment, compliance with applicable regulations and protection of the physical asset
- Provide room touch-up, testing and repairs, fine tuning of guest room appliances, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Perform general repairs and assigned maintenance duties in a satisfactory and timely manner and meet service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction.
- Respond to guest questions or problems in a timely professional manner
- When needed, manage any onsite vendors that will be doing maintenance work onsite. Check in with their progress while onsite.
- Respond to complaints or problems from guests or other departments in a timely manner
- Maintain ponds, spas and wellness building equipment and services.
- Participate in re-keying of facility as needed.
- Always observe property from a safety, security, and risk perspective. Report any unusual behavior and make recommendations for improvements.
- As needed, assist in snow plowing of the property entries, bridges, roads and trails.
- Respond to any equipment alarms, troubleshoot, and repair.
General Support:
- Assist with special projects, such as installations or event setups.
- Monitor grounds for safety hazards, damage, or areas needing attention and report findings to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with the team and other departments to meet retreat goals.
- Assist with leadership requests.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Ability to engage with people in a way that creates a sense of community and loyalty.
- Experience Minimum five years of experience in maintenance roles with mechanical and HVAC knowledge, or equivalent education and experience.
- Understanding of common maintenance procedures and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Experience in disciplines of engineering such as plumbing, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to weekends and pm shifts
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook and Office applications such as, but not limited to, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
- Grit, perseverance, and a drive to be the best and expect the best.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both written and oral.
- Ability to effectively present information in one on one or small group situations to customers, team members and board members of Lone Rock.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work at high elevations with climbing and walking as a regular activity.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours in length.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
- Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment
- Ability to work weekends and weekdays.
- Must be able to flex hours of availability when necessary. Hours may be extended or irregular to include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to investigate and analyze data drawing conclusions on that data and make decisions and offer recommendations for improvement of the property and its revenues and expenses.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to think independently and use discretion to make decisions impacting the business operations and finances.
