A luxury residential high-rise in Manhattan is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and appearance of the property. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working in high-rise residential buildings and possess strong technical knowledge across building systems, preventative maintenance, staff coordination, and resident service.
This position requires a proactive leader who takes pride in maintaining a first-class residential environment while ensuring building operations run safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of Superintendent experience in a high-rise residential building required
- Luxury residential building experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience supervising building staff and outside vendors
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and resident service skills
- Must be dependable, organized, and solution-oriented
- Experience with NYC compliance and safety regulations preferred
- FDNY certifications and applicable licenses are a plus
