**POSITION OVERVIEW
**
This position is employed by Pro Services and assigned to support our customer's facility in LaPorte, IN. We're looking for a well-rounded, multi-craft industrial maintenance technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation & controls. This role is responsible for the daily maintenance, installation, dismantlement, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment to keep the facility running safely and reliably.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
**

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs to ensure all equipment continues to run effectively and facility systems operate efficiently and reliably.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic machinery, combustion systems, and electrical/electronic equipment.

Install, assemble, rebuild, and repair all types of equipment, and support all facility infrastructure.

Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.

Participate in projects and planning events; interface with suppliers and lead contracting activities; use a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Identify, specify, and use spare and replacement parts.

Participate in and actively support all required training, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), Human Performance, and company/department objectives.

Availability for shift and weekend work is required, including holiday and emergency coverage.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
**

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
-
3+ years of maintenance technician experience across all core areas of industrial maintenance: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation & controls.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position involves access to export-controlled items; employment is conditioned on the applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Must possess reading, writing, and basic math skills.

Ability to understand precision measuring instruments, electrical/electronic testing devices, drawings and schematics, equipment user manuals, and task instructions.

Basic computer skills; advanced skills are a plus.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
**

Experience working in clean environments is a plus.

Experience with vacuum systems is an asset (including ultra-high vacuum systems).

Formal PLC training and/or extensive hands-on PLC experience.

Experience with man lifts (scissor and boom) and forklifts is an asset.
