Role Description This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role is based at the ImageFIRST facility in Elmsford, NY. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial laundry equipment and related systems to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, completing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and documenting all work performed. The role also involves collaborating with operations and production teams to minimize downtime, following safety protocols and company standards, and assisting with facility upkeep such as basic building repairs. The Maintenance Technician may support installation of new equipment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance to support a high-volume healthcare laundry facility.
  • \n

  • Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose issues and restore equipment to proper working condition.
  • \n

  • Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to perform scheduled inspections and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • \n

  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems in an industrial environment is beneficial.
  • \n

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and to maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • \n

  • Strong focus on safety, adherence to regulatory standards, and willingness to follow company procedures and guidelines.
  • \n

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and production teams.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is a plus.
