Job Description A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and execution of engineering projects within its manufacturing operation. This position develops mechanical solutions, creates detailed CAD drawings, and designs custom parts, fixtures, and jigs used in manufacturing and assembly. The Mechanical Engineer will also troubleshoot system issues, reverse engineer components, and collaborate with manufacturing and other internal teams to move projects from concept through completion. Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering solutions and specifications for assigned manufacturing projects.
  • Design custom parts, fixtures, and jigs and create accurate mechanical drawings using CAD software.
  • Review engineering sketches and specifications, reverse engineer components, and update drawings as designs change.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions and provide technical information to support manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders while maintaining engineering schedules, documentation, and version control. Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Experience preparing engineering specifications and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor Professional or similar CAD software.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production techniques, and machine shop operations.
  • Experience using calipers and micrometers, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including frequently handling tools, equipment, and parts weighing up to 50 pounds and working in a combination of office and manufacturing environments. Mechanical Engineer
