Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of manufacturing equipment and systems. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring minimal downtime in production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic control systems.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and hazards in equipment operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure continuous operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
