We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper to join our Team!
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician/Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, cleanliness, and functionality of the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas. Repairs include building and renovation, make-ready apartments, plumbing, painting, sheetrock work, electrical, carpentry and landscape maintenance and other job duties as assigned. This position also requires the completion of custodial work as necessary, including cleaning and maintaining common areas and overall property appearance.
To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. This is a physically demanding role that requires regular lifting, bending, walking, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Responsibilities:
· Complete work orders and repair orders in a timely manner
· Make-ready apartments and other required tasks
· HVAC-certified preferred but not required
· Estimate time and extent of repairs
· Perform routine preventive maintenance
· Maintain material and supply inventory
· Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
· Lawn mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and weed control
· Repair sprinkler systems
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in maintenance required
· Previous experience in apartment maintenance preferred
· Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
· Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
· Deadline and detail-oriented
· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Full time employees are eligible for medical benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 60 continuous days of employment.
