Job DescriptionPosition Description: Summary: Keeps premises apartment house, or other commercial building in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1.\tCleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
2.\tCleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
3.\tSweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
4.\tCleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
5.\tDusts furniture and equipment.
6.\tPolishes metalwork.
7.\tWashes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
8.\tWashes windows, door panels, and sills.
9.\tEmpties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
10.\tTransports trash and waste to disposal area.
11.\tReplenishes bathroom supplies.
12.\tReplaces light bulbs.
13.\tCuts and trims grass, and shovels snow.
14.\tDelivers messages.
15.\tTransports small equipment or tools between departments.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations with other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Work Environment:
