Employment Solutions is seeking a skilled Security Installation & Service Technician to install, service, and maintain a variety of commercial and residential security systems. If you have experience with fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and low-voltage wiring, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and service security and alarm safety systems
• Install and troubleshoot CCTV/IP camera systems, intrusion alarms, fire alarm systems, and electronic access control systems
• Run, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling
• Program control panels and connected devices
• Diagnose and repair system issues while performing preventive maintenance
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Complete installation records, service reports, and other required documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and inspectors
• Respond to scheduled service calls and occasional emergency service requests
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical and fire codes
• Travel to customer locations to assist with troubleshooting and/or installation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in the installation of fire and/or security systems; or
• Certification in Fire Alarm and Detection Equipment and two years in a related field; or
• An equivalent combination of training and experience with installation of security or fire alarm systems

Qualifications:

• State/local certifications as required (e.g. manufacturer-specific certifications)
• Ability to use hand/power tools to install hardware
• Verifiable experience in the installation and programming of alarm, fire, CCTV, and IP related systems
• IP Camera System installation & programming experience
• Must be able to communicate effectively and persuasively
• Working knowledge of fire alarm codes, electrical codes, and ADA regulations
• Familiarity with major brands (Honeywell, Bosch, DSC, Silent Knight, Notifier, Lenel, HID, etc.)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation & Schedule:Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 based upon experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8am-4:30pm
