Work Hours: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM, MondayFriday
Location: Based out of company warehouse / job sites
Reports To: Sr. Project Manager / Operations Leadership
Position Summary
The Facility Technician supports field operations and job site logistics for Unshakable Builders. This position is responsible for material transportation, warehouse upkeep, job site supply delivery, and general operational support. The role is critical to keeping projects moving efficiently by ensuring materials, equipment, and site needs are handled promptly and safely.
This position involves significant driving and requires a valid drivers license, safe driving record, and the ability to operate company vehicles, including a small dump truck and truck with trailer.
Primary Responsibilities
Transportation & Deliveries
- Deliver backfill dirt, sand, and other materials to job sites
- Transport construction materials, tools, and supplies between warehouse, vendors, and job sites
- Operate a company pickup truck, small dump truck, and trailer
- Load and unload materials safely and securely
- Pick up materials from vendors as requested by Superintendents or Project Managers
Warehouse & Yard Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Assist with inventory organization and storage
- Remove trash, debris, and scrap materials
Job Site Support
- Deliver requested supplies to job sites
- Assist field teams with material handling
- Help keep job sites supplied and organized
- Support Superintendents with logistics needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid state drivers license (required)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to safely drive:
o Pickup truck
o Small dump truck
o Truck with trailer - Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic knowledge of construction materials preferred
- Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
- Dependable and punctual
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Repeated entering/exiting vehicles
- Operating equipment and loading materials
