Our client, a leading healthcare real estate organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting the operational excellence of healthcare properties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Morristown, NJ
Pay Range: $25-$28/hourly
Shift: 1st shift (open availability)
What's the Job?
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems in accordance with company policies, manufacturer recommendations, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, hardware, roofing, irrigation, painting, and general building systems.
- Respond promptly to tenant service requests and maintenance emergencies to ensure safety and satisfaction.
- Complete scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance for life safety, mechanical, and building equipment.
- Maintain accurate work orders, inspection reports, maintenance logs, and daily activity records to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum five (5) years of commercial building maintenance experience; healthcare property experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
