Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a distinguished provider of post-acute services and long-term care, is nestled in the heart of a proud University City neighborhood. We are seeking an actively engaged Maintenance Director who combines leadership and oversight with direct, hands-on involvement in daily operations.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Director:

Performs as a working leader who combines strategic oversight with practical, day-to-day involvement.

Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks and work orders are completed promptly to meet residents’ needs in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Executes all preventive maintenance and life safety schedules promptly

Ensures all maintenance areas are maintained in a safe manner.

Supervises maintenance personnel and assists in completing work orders as assigned.

Orders and provides requisitions for supplies to maintain inventory and operate the maintenance department.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Chairs the Safety Committee and attends QAPI committee meetings as scheduled.

On-call responsibilities and weekends may be necessary to manage emergencies immediately.
Qualifications for the Maintenance Director position:

Ability to balance leadership, troubleshooting, and provide operational execution
-
2-4 years of long-term care experience preferred.

Demonstrates leadership competence, tactful interpersonal communication, and critical problem-solving skills.

Demonstrates the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and a maintenance care program.

Is familiar with both federal and PA Long Term Care regulations

Must have the ability to function independently, exhibit flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, families, and support agencies.
