3rd Shift Custodial Supervisor – Bilingual English/Spanish
Pay: $24.50 – $26.50 per hour
Full-Time | 3rd Shift | In Person
Smith Maintenance Company is looking for an experienced 3rd Shift Custodial Supervisor to lead and support our overnight cleaning team.
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish – REQUIRED
- Previous experience supervising a custodial or janitorial team
- Commercial cleaning experience
- Strong knowledge of floor care, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Ability to train, direct, and motivate employees
- Reliable and able to work overnight hours
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and resolve routine issues during the shift
Responsibilities
- Supervise the 3rd shift custodial team
- Assign daily cleaning duties and monitor employee performance
- Inspect work to ensure company cleaning standards are met
- Make sure restrooms, floors, common areas, and other assigned areas are properly cleaned
- Oversee floor care and carpet cleaning
- Train employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety
- Track attendance, completed work, supplies, and maintenance issues
- Report any problems or building maintenance needs to management
- Communicate with employees and management in English and Spanish
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, organized, and comfortable leading a custodial team. The supervisor should be willing to work alongside employees when needed and make sure the entire shift runs smoothly.
Experience supervising a commercial cleaning team is required.
