MULTIFAMILY PROPERTY MANAGER – CHICAGO
Our client is a small but growing real estate investment company with its head office in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. They are looking to add a great real estate professional to their team to be responsible for a 75+ (and growing) unit portfolio.
This full-time position offers a comprehensive range of responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding real estate investment company specializing in rental apartments in the Lakeview and Lincoln Park Neighborhoods.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Reporting – Reconcile bank statements, maintain Excel management reports, and prepare monthly financial statements using Buildium and Dropbox.
- Bill Pay & Vendor Management – Process and pay invoices, maintain organized contractor bill tracking, and ensure timely payment of all expenses.
- Leasing & Tenant Relations – Prepare marketing materials and leases, run tenant credit checks, manage rent collection, and maintain accurate tenant ledgers.
- Administrative Oversight – Keep virtual files current, support smooth office operations, and collaborate directly with company leadership on portfolio performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (business coursework a plus)
- Prior property management experience
- Illinois real estate broker license (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Buildium a plus
- Comfortable working on‐site in the Lincoln Park office
Compensation
This is a full‐time role with competitive compensation.
You do not need a car for this job. The majority of your work time will be in the office.
