About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding people, property, and assets across various environments. Your presence helps deter wrongdoing, respond to incidents, and maintain a secure atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
• Patrol premises regularly to ensure safety and deter illegal activity.
• Monitor and authorize access of vehicles and individuals.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents promptly.
• Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper security.
• Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious behavior.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities.
• Provide customer service and support to visitors and employees.
• Document daily activities and write detailed incident reports.
Skills Needed & Desired
• Valid D License (G License favorable)
• Drug-free status
• Strong communication skills (bilingual/multilingual favorable)
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
• Conflict management abilities
• High-level customer service skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Patrol experience (vehicle, foot, or golf cart)
• Loss prevention knowledge
• Surveillance and CCTV monitoring experience
• Emergency response and management
• Incident and daily report writing
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (highly desired)
• Two-way radio experience
• Critical thinking and problem-solving
• Team collaboration
• Procedural compliance
• Promptness and reliability
