Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. This is a position, offering the successful candidate an opportunity to showcase their expertise in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, ensuring the smooth running of all our equipment, and leading the team towards maximum productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, manage and coordinate all maintenance operations in the manufacturing facility, including but not limited to, electrical, automation, PLC, VFDs, robotics, sensors, controls, and millwrights.
  • Implement and manage a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program using RCM and CMMS.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues and implement necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to diagnose problems and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Manage maintenance budget and optimize expenditure.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work and report on activities and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate work and achieve operational goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of technical education and experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with electrical, automation, PLC, VFDs, variable frequency drive, robotics, sensors, controls, millwrights.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with predictive, preventive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
