Maintenance Technician/Pool Operator
Shoji Spa & Retreat – Asheville, NC
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Part-Time | Must be available weekends and on call as needed
Skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician with hands-on problem solver with experience in pool systems, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and landscaping.
Key Responsibilities
- Reliability a must
- General repairs, preventive maintenance, and property upkeep.

Maintain and troubleshoot pool systems, including filters and water chemistry. No need for experience you will be trained!

Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping tasks.

Assist with seasonal maintenance schedules and special projects.

Respond promptly to on-call or weekend maintenance emergencies.

Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests and staff.

Keep accurate records of maintenance work and communicate updates to management.

Obtain and maintain a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) License – Shoji Spa will cover certification costs.
Qualifications
Required:

Experience in 2 or more: pool maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or landscaping.

Availability for weekends and on-call coverage.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physically fit; able to lift, bend, and perform manual labor as needed.

Reliable transportation and punctuality for early morning shifts.
Preferred:

Experience in a spa, resort, or hospitality environment.
