Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Pedrollo Group USA is seeking a proactive, hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, professional, and fully operational workplace. This role is responsible for facility maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, light janitorial duties, office improvements, and general building support.
We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done. The ideal candidate takes ownership of the facility, notices opportunities for improvement, anticipates maintenance needs, and takes pride in creating an exceptional work environment for employees and visitors.
What You'll Do
Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, and other building systems.
Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement long-term solutions.
Perform minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs.
Assemble and install office furniture, shelving, televisions, monitors, whiteboards, artwork, signage, and other fixtures.
Assist with office moves, workspace reconfigurations, and facility improvement projects.
Maintain exterior grounds and coordinate snow removal and landscaping as needed.
Perform routine light janitorial duties including cleaning common areas, breakrooms, conference rooms, and high-touch surfaces.
Monitor the overall appearance of the facility and proactively address housekeeping and maintenance needs.
Pick up maintenance supplies and materials from local vendors.
Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and inventory.
Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
Support emergency response efforts and occasional after-hours facility needs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.

Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of building maintenance, facilities, or general repair experience
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Working knowledge of:
HVAC systems
Electrical systems
Plumbing
General maintenance tools and equipment
Reading technical manuals and safety procedures
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds working both indoors and outdoors, and occasionally responding to after-hours maintenance needs.
