NTENANCE SUPERVISOR II – 2nd Shift

Reports to: Maintenance Manager II

Location: Brownsville, WI

Job Description:

Oversee all maintenance of the production facility, manage plant maintenance budget, and oversee training and development of mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and facility performance
Advocate for effective execution of performance management process by collaborating with direct reports to set clear objectives and goals
Conduct regular coaching and constructive feedback discusses to review performance and goal progress
Support workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies
Address Associate relations and performance issues in a timely manner; make appropriate decisions relative to performance challenges
Distribute PMs, including lockout/tag-out sheets
Coordinate emergency work and attend/participate in workflow process meetings
Supervise hourly Associates including coaching/mentoring, training, discipline, performance management, conflict resolution, etc.
Conduct Associate Safety and other required training
Maintain documentation for training, safety, job evaluations, orientations, etc.
Assess Maintenance team strengths and weaknesses
Maintain involvement in hiring new maintenance Associates and manage onboarding to the team
Ensure 24/7 plant maintenance coverage and support
Monday – Friday; 4:00 pm – 12:30 am

Qualifications:

Associate degree; BS/BA preferred (in a relevant technical field)
Minimum 6 years related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing a big plus
3+ years supervisory/leadership experience
Strong project management and conflict management skills
Lock Out/Tag-Out Certification
